What is Love

On my wedding day the priest prayed over my husband and I with this prayer from Corinthians:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

The words ring true all these years later and has guided us through the many rough roads we traveled.

This Valentines Day is especially special to me because my first born child is going to marry his lovely fiancé.
A few years ago my daughter-in-law to be, Sandy responded to a a friend of the family that was down on love and never wanted to marry. Sandy said, "But, don't you want someone to love you that aren't your parents."
I new then that my son was going to have a long and happy marriage with Sandy.
So today I'm thinking of Justin and Sandy as examples of love.
